Kevin Nowottnick has practiced martial arts for 42+ years and has been teaching martial arts for over 37 years. He holds a degree in Kinesiology and has a career as a Kinesiologist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer spanning more than 32 years. He is a second-generation Jeet Kune Do Concepts/FMA instructor, a Black Belt in ITF Tae Kwon do, a certified Boxing Coach with Boxing BC/Coaching Association of Canada, and a certified Kickboxing Coach with WAKO. He is a specialist in strength and conditioning for combat sport athletes and martial arts practitioners. His career has given him many opportunities to coach athletes training on Provincial and National Teams; competing at Pan Am, Commonwealth, World and Olympic games; as well as coach MMA athletes from amateur events to the professional stage of the UFC, providing coaching in striking and strength and conditioning.
His striking coaching combines the best of systems and styles (Muay Thai, Dutch Kickboxing, Boxing, FMA and Jeet Kune Do Concepts), along with the methods and principles of current exercise science and strength and conditioning.
His passion is in coaching, mentoring and helping martial artists and aspiring combat sport athletes, develop the skills and habits to succeed on the mat, in the ring, the cage and in life. Helping each one find the champion within.
